Our Mission
Our mission is to provide educational needs to the students in the Philippines. We believe that education can help change one's social circumstances and provide access to a brighter future. The organization helps alleviate some of the burden that poverty-stricken families face on a daily basis by simply providing school supplies to the children in the local districts of the Philippines, as well as giving back to the communities through feeding programs and distributing in-kind donations we receive annually.

Our Story
KLARK is an acronym for Karon, Laurice, Ann, Ritchell and Kay. Four of the sisters were born and raised in the Philippines and have witnessed the social economic inequality in the country. In an effort to provide a more secured future for them, KLARK's parents made the heart-breaking decision to leave them in care of their beloved grandparents, aunts and uncles, and work at another country. Their parents migrated to the United States and sacrificed precious memories and time in order to better their lives and afford top quality education. During their early years, education became their priority, as they wanted to show their parents that despite their separation and the distance between them, their success in schooling is the fruit of their sacrifice.
During their migration to the United States, Karon, Ann, Ritchell and Kay meet their 5th sibling, Laurice, and naturally, they formed a strong bond of sisterhood. They carried with them the same mentality and discipline in education, and in that, they were fortunate enough to achieve the American Dream that many others so desired. Deeply affected by the economic difficulties they witnessed in the Philippines, as well as their parents' unbreakable dedication, collectively, they formed KLARK Foundation, Inc. to give back to the community and hope they can help break the cycle of poverty and make a difference in today's tough environment through collaborative, self-fulfilling work. It is a small act of kindness but it is a change that the world needs. It is their hope that through the organization and the programs it offers that they empower the students to keep learning, persevere and pursue their dreams so that they will have the opportunity to create a successful story of their own!
